![]() ![]() Remove the Elevator effect bleeding through exterior walls and add easier skybridges and I can figure my own way around the dilemma. How is a nearby elevator handy when you need to go down 100 floors enter a different building and up again to touch it? I can build two completely seperate towers, floors hundreds of vertical levels apart and removed by a windy, howling chasm several dozens of meters wide, but if the only elevator on the floor is actually in the opposite tower but physically still near enough to have these offices/appartments fall within the 19 tiles despite the gap, the tenants will still dislike and complain about, or even praise the "nearby elevator" for god knows what reason. This doesn't work! Area effects can literally bleed through the walls of your tower and the same goes for your elevator radius. ![]() So far I dont think it does anything with happiness ratings so I've noticed. What I do for a lot of money is right before midnight adjust all of the rates to 200 and collect a massive amount of money and right after put them back to where you want them. That's bigger than the entire maximum width of the narrow tower! That's even a bother for a standard tower! This means that offices/appartements who dislike it, the largest some 15/16 tiles wide respectively, need a minimal floor width of no less then 16 placement + 19 buffer + 3 Elevator = 38 tiles wide!
